Voice of DHA’s Sports Initiative
We are excited to announce the launch of the VOD Sports Initiative, a new program aimed at promoting sports participation among both men and women in DHA and Clifton.
We believe that sports are an essential part of a healthy and active lifestyle, and we want to make it easier for everyone in our community to get involved. That’s why we’re offering a variety of sports and fitness activities, and we’re working to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, we have something for you. We offer a variety of individual and team sports, including cricket, throwball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.
And the best part is, our programs are open to everyone, regardless of age, skill level, or gender. We want to encourage everyone in our community to get active and enjoy the benefits of sports.
VOD Cricket

Voice of DHA’s cricket community is growing stronger every day. We remember our teenage years, when we would play cricket every Sunday without fail. Those were special times, and we’re excited to bring that same kind of excitement and camaraderie to our community today.
That’s why we’ve launched a new initiative to promote cricket and other sports in DHA. We want to provide everyone with the opportunity to participate in competitive matches and to enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
We’re also committed to providing the best sporting facilities in the vicinity. We’re working with local authorities to secure access to cricket pitches and other sports fields. We’re also working with sponsors to provide our members with access to affordable equipment.
We look forward to many more cricketing weekends in the years to come. We hope that more and more people will join us in this initiative. Our goal is to encourage everyone to step out of their homes and participate in sports, regardless of their skill level.
VOD Women Sports

A few months ago, we launched an initiative to engage people in sporting activities. We’re excited to report that things have been going even better than we expected!
Last weekend, four of our women’s teams participated in their first throwball tournament at the Causathon sports gala. Not only was it a fun and competitive event, but all proceeds went to the Patients Aid Foundation. We’re proud of our team members for giving it their all, even against opponents who play at the national level.
VOD Events
We are excited to announce that Voice of DHA (VOD) will now be holding events in the DHA & Clifton area! Our first event will be a cricket mini-tournament with six teams from all different areas, including DHA Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 4, Phase 5, Phase 6, and Phase 8.
Our second event will be a toy fair and children’s activities event, perfect for families with young children.
Our third event will be a wedding-related event, more details to follow soon. We hope you will join us for these and future events!

Voice of DHA Community Building Platform
We at Voice of DHA are proud of the role we have played in raising community awareness. Two years ago, we covered the CBC elections, which was an important opportunity to educate residents about their local government. Many residents didn’t know who their councilor was or what their responsibilities were, and we were able to provide them with that information.
Voice of DHA is gradually evolving from a Facebook forum into a community building platform. We hope that more and more people will join hands with us to support this cause.
We would like to thank all stakeholders of DHA and Clifton, including DHA Karachi, CBC, Sindh Police, Shell, Optix, StormFiber, and K-Electric, for listening to the feedback of the members of Voice of DHA (residents of DHA and Clifton).
