As you all know FIR was registered against me and other 21 for protesting outside CBC on 31st August 2020.
What has happened since then?
1. FIR was* suspended by the court for 14 days.
2. Got invited by President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi to discuss our issues.
We met the President today (11th September) at Governor House. Firstly, we would like to extend our gratitude to President Sahab and Shahzad Qureshi for inviting us and hearing our issues.
We discussed the following:
1. FIR issue
2. Storm Water & Drainage
3. Road Infrastructure
4. Line Water
5. Heavy Taxes paid by the residents of DHA
6. Security Cameras in DHA
Now that the FIR has been suspended, whats next for us? 
We have a meeting with Station Commander on the 17th September along with our MPA and MNA. The meeting was later pushed to 22nd September and we didn’t take part in this meeting!
Update: The FIR is still there 
(as at 11th September 2020).
This group was made so that voices of DHA residents can be heard. 
We have seen members posting about water, road, drainage, electricity, gas and other issues. As a community, I think priority of our issues should be below, you can disagree of-course:
1. Dewatering (if it still hasn’t been done in all areas).
2. Spraying in entire DHA! More people die from Malaria than Corona every year. Please keep yourself and children safe, and avoid sitting out for a while. I don’t mean to discourage outdoor Chai Dhabbas or restaurants.
3. Basic things like: Electricity, Gas, Drainage, Roads, etc.
Why was the group name changed to VOICE OF DHA KARACHI
After noticing that the issue is not just of dewatering and drainage, but electricity, gas, internet, and others too, so it became the VOICE OF DHA Karachi.
Proud feeling: 
Perception of DHA residents was that we won’t come out of our homes and will use our private funds to get all the cleaning, repairing done but we came out and asked for our right! We did a peaceful protest.
Trend of making community groups: 
Like a community is now made to discuss DHA issues, groups can be made for other areas of Karachi too. Thank me later.
What happened at the CBC protest? 
Like I have posted earlier too that YOU came out of your home and YOU asked for your right! There was no direction, no agenda set by anyone as there was no ONE leader. We were asked to list down our demands, but everyone had a different demand. How can you compile the 1.2k protesters on one page?
So who is the face of DHA? 
YOU!
Responsibility: 
When you’re handling a community of 20k members, you have huge responsibility on your shoulders. I can’t just accept all posts in here, some of them being hate speeches too. I request all members to support us as it is a community group! If taken positively, we can help each other by solving our problems. So lets help eachother, there is no point discussing irrelevant topics here.

Let’s make DHA green again: 
Many trees have washed away in the recent rain. Let’s all start by planting a plant outside our homes and offices, even this small effort is a contribution. Thank You
