It has almost been a year since it rained and we are still going to the court for a bogus FIR.
FYI, we were charged for an act of terrorism in this FIR. When CBC couldn’t handle the protesters on 30th August, a group of 6 to 8 people were invited inside CBC office for a table talk. You don’t invite terrorists in your office for a table talk. Do you?
Todays highlights:
1. Today, we appeared in the court for the 13th time. Please also note, CBCs security guard / peon has filed this case against us.
2. Out of the 22 names given for FIR, 10 of them have no identity and are yet to be found.
3. Fortunately, our trial finally took place today. In most appearances, either the complainee was missing or their representative. Today, we were represented by 4 different lawyers.
4. The defendant lawyers argued that why was the FIR even registered if we met CBCs team again on the 2nd September, to which CBC’s lawyer said that such a meeting never happened. Even the MPA & MNA were part of this meeting.
5. Furthermore, when CBC’s lawyer didn’t have anything in his defence, he started a debate on how protesters chanted against our Sindhi brothers and the forces. We respect every community, and didn’t participate in such an act. It’s just a tactic to take us away from the core of the case.
